I got involved with CrossFit in 2011 when I met my (now) husband, Chris Garceau. During my first class, the workout was awful and I remember wondering, “Why in the world would he take me here?” By the time the WOD was (finally) over, I knew that wouldn't be my last CrossFit experience. After just that one class, I could already feel the sense of community associated with CrossFit and loved the challenge along with the feeling of accomplishment afterwards. This many years later, I’m still coming back for the community, the challenge, and the triumph.
Motivation & Passion
I love coaching because I love to see how CrossFit changes lives. Although CrossFit is a fitness program, the benefits overflow into ALL aspects of our lives. It is so rewarding to cheer on others as they grow, strive, and reach for ALL of their life goals and dreams. “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” – Philippians 4:13
